Kindness G’MACH is open Mondays through Thursdays from 9:30am – 3:30pm and open on Fridays from 9:30am to 2pm. We are located at 9372 Cabot Drive, San Diego CA 92126, right off of Miramar Road.

These donations are then sorted and organized by staff and a team of volunteers.  Over 600 people each year receive goods from G’MACH! We are so grateful for your donations, please check below to see what G’MACH currently is and isn’t accepting for donations.

Items Needed Urgently:

• Household cleaning supplies (all purpose cleaner, Lysol, toilet cleaner, dish soap, bleach, window cleaner, sponges)
• Home essentials (paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, complete sheet sets)
• Pantry items (Ziploc bags, saran wrap, tin foil)
• Laundry (detergent pods, fabric softener, dryer sheets)
• New or gently used pots and pans
• New or gently used appliances
• Toiletries (conditioner, liquid body wash)
• Matching glassware and matching plate sets

Items Accepted:

• Gently used or new clothing for adults and children
• Gift cards (Trader Joes, Vons, Shell, Chevron, Target, Walmart) for food, gas and essentials
• Infant supplies including clothing, disassembled cribs and changing tables, strollers, car seats, and bedding
• Children’s supplies including clothing, shoes, school supplies, school uniforms, sports equipment and backpacks
• Toys, games and gifts
• Hygiene products including soaps, shampoo, oral and eye care, toilet paper
• Linens, dishes, kitchen items including toaster ovens and coffee makers and Kosher Housewares
• Judaica items including kippot, prayer shawls, prayer books, Seder Plates, Hannukiot and Mezzuzahs
• Special Occasion needs including wedding dresses, tuxedos, suits, formal clothing, shoes, and accessories
• Maternity and new mother goods
• Disability needs including wheelchairs, crutches, scooters, walkers

Items Currently Not Accepted:

• We are at capacity for all books right now including; PJ library books, religious books, and large sets
• Clothing that is dirty, stained, or with holes
• Incomplete toy sets
• Houseware items that are moldy, broken, or in poor condition including; coffee machines, microwaves, pots and pans, towels

Furniture and Large Appliances

G’MACH connects furniture and appliance donors and those seeking these goods through an active Facebook page (access here).  We post photos of the available items provided by donors and clients coordinate with G’MACH first and then with the donor for pickup.  Security precautions are built into this program.
