Other Ways to Give

Find the way that is best for you to help Kindness Initiative to provide comprehensive solutions to meet the needs of vulnerable Jews in the San Diego community. Our collaborative, coordinated, and integrated approach to alleviating financial insecurity in Jewish San Diego, strives to enable our Members to regain self-sufficiency, by connecting them with resources to handle serious financial challenges.

Donate a Vehicle

We are a registered partner with the CARS program. The donation process can be completed in as little as two minutes. There is no charge for picking up or towing your vehicle, and your gift is tax deductible, to the extent allowed by law.

Make a Gift of Securities

Stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have appreciated in value may be an attractive donation for you, under current tax laws. When you transfer the ownership of securities to Kindness Initiative, you receive a charitable income tax deduction to the full extent allowed by law. Please alert us in advance, if you wish to transfer a gift of this nature.

Create a Permanent Named Fund

With a gift of $20,000 or more, you can endow a “Named Fund” that will exist in perpetuity to support local Jewish households in need. Subsequent gifts from you will be credited to the fund, and others may contribute to it as well

Only as an entire community can we together make a difference. We cannot do it without YOU and every synagogue, day school and local service organization in San Diego! Please don’t be indifferent to the plight of so many needy in our community.
