Through the 2019 “Study on Poverty in the San Diego Jewish Community,” as well as independent analysis and interviews with those struggling in life, Kindness Initiative discovered that financial struggles have many causes, but in a multitude of cases, it is just due to a “bad break” here and there. Financial insecurity truly can happen to anyone.
Our fellow, struggling Jewish households rely on the community, and on each of us, to be there for them when they need help. Lead sponsors set the standard for meeting our Jewish obligation to assist those in need. Kindness Initiative is indebted and grateful to those special individuals, who make it possible create an even kinder, more caring and generous San Diego Jewish community. Thank you!
